White Lady

Ingredients

50ml Himbrimi Winterbird Gin
15ml Bitter Orange Liqueur
30ml Lemon Juice
1 egg white (optional)
Dried Arctic thyme

Directions

Add the Winterbird, orange liqueur, lemon juice (and egg white) into a shaker and dry-shake (without ice) vigorously.

Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.

Strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with the Arctic Thyme

Notes

Named after a platinum blonde, the White Lady is an irresitible cocktail from the early 1910s. The true creator of this recipe is lost in time and the first reference to an egg white is made in The Stork Club Bar Book from 1946. Since then, this addition has become popular around the world.
