60ml Himbrimi Winterbird London Dry Gin
15 ml Extra Dry Vermouth
1 drop of Lavender Bitter
Add the Winterbird, Dry Vermouth and the Lavendar Bitter into a mixing glass with ice and stir until very cold.
Strain into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
This is the classic of the classics in the mixology world and as writer E.B. White has described, "The elixir of quietude". There are many variants of the original Martini recipe, but since this recipe contains more of the London Dry Gin than of the Vermouth, it is called "Dry Martini"
and Himbrimi prefers it garnished with a lemon curlicue.
